The fan rotor disk is a critical component of the engine's fan module. It securely holds fan blades in place during operation using dovetail-shaped mounting slots found around its perimeter. Blending power and precision engineering, the fan system pulls in massive amounts of air, with most of it bypassing the core to generate powerful, efficient thrust.

The disk made from aerospace-grade titanium alloy which offers an optimal balance of lightweight strength, durability, and resistance to high stresses and environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and vibrations.
